As the Democrats look to be preparing two articles of impeachment, the public doesn’t seem to be particularly moved by any of this.

The fact that the impeachment is unlikely to happen is besides the point, this has been an aggressive and interesting piece of political theatre.
The fact remains that it hasn’t affected Donald Trump’s odds to be reelected at any point and punters will find him available around an 11/10 price tag and, while it’s slightly higher than where he was trading back in August at 10/11, he remains in pole position to secure the presidency.
The Democrats have a vast and lengthy nomination process that has been underway for well over a year and is still months away from the opening up for votes in Iowa and New Hampshire.
Joe Biden had been trading in third or fourth position after being considered Trump’s main competition but the surge from Elizabeth Warren seems to have cooled off as the Democratic Party’s left wing began to realize she wasn’t a more marketable version of Bernie Sanders. She still remains a top tier candidate but the gloss and hard media push appears to have ended for the Senator from Massachusetts.
Biden has been undergoing a seemingly endless series of gaffes over the past few months but none of them really seem to be affecting him at the polls. The issue seems to be that nobody following the horse race element of the election thinks Biden is actually going to scoop the nomination despite trading as the favourite Democrat for the nomination.
