The big race at Newmarket is always the focal point of the spring racing season and you can expect this year to be no different as the highly-rated three-year-old superstar Air Force Blue looks set to light the English racing world on fire after a series of stellar performances during his two-year old campaign.
Right now the Aidan o'brien-trained Contender can be backed as low as an 8/11 margin with some bookmakers and several others praise him as low as a 4/5 listing to hit the line first on the big day at Newmarket.
The bookmakers appear to think that there are a couple of horses who could challenge him and the prime contender appears to be Emotionless who is listed at 10/1 margin right now to pull off the shock victory against the highly rated Air Force Blue. You will also find the likes of Massaat and Foundation trading around a 12/1 price tag at the moment.
Buratino is also worth keeping your eye on and he can be back around a 14 / 1 price tag going into the guineas. It's going to be especially interesting to see how the odds fluctuate on these other contenders since they are boast a guineas entry but the fact remains that some may choose another route in order to avoid the highly rated Air Force Blue who looks set to make his 2016 debut in the contest.
