Always a tricky contest to win and one that will ensure a lucrative stallion career, the Arc has a lot of rewards for the right colt or filly. In recent years, we have seen a lot of really talented female runners begin to boss this race and take advantage of the weight break that they receive.
This time around we have Adayar who could be set to make a big impression. The bookmakers have Adayar listed at an 11/4 margin and the performances that we have seen this year show plenty of confidence from the bookmakers and the betting public alike.
Tarnawa is another really solid contender here who appears to be right in the mix with a price of around 7/2 to secure the Arc De Triomphe. The conditions underfoot should suit him and he has shown the ability to be able to beat anybody on a day when he truly comes correct. Having taken some time off earlier this season could wind up paying big dividends for him.
Hurricane Lane is one who has captured the imagination of many and the 5/1 price available on him shows plenty of confidence. Should he wind up making a really nice pre-race appearance it wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see him go off near the favourites position. He will definitely be in the mix but is perhaps a bit too short for a place bet.
Other notables include the likes of Snowfall at 6/1, Chrono Genesis at 10/1 while Raabihah sits at 20/1. The one to keep your eye on for an outside bet is Love who has shown the ability to triumph over anybody on the right day. Look for her at a 25/1 listing.
