- By A.J. Ryder on October 20, 2016 13:48 GMTFrosted has been priced anywhere from 15/8 all the way up to 7/2 and this horse has put in some freaky fast performances over the past year or so but he has also thrown in more than his fair share of clunkers too - particularly when sent off at very short odds to simply not fire.

There have been rumours that his recent series of sharp workouts have convinced his Godolphin owners to point him back towards the Breeders’ Cup Classic in an effort to take on California Chrome and go for the big money. Some bookmakers remain unconvinced and that accounts for his price disparity for the Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile ante post market.
Runhappy remains in the mix for this race as well despite having won the Breeders’ Cup Sprint at a distance a quarter mile shorter than this one last year. He really hasn’t looked the same horse and the fiasco surrounding his former trainer Maria Borell seems to have been a distraction for the entire American horse racing business over the past year or so since her epic victory at Keeneland last year and subsequent fallout of animal abuse allegations.
Runhappy is still pointed at the Dirt Mile and the bookmakers have him priced anywhere from a 5/1 margin all the way up to an 8/1 price at the time of this writing. It’s worth remembering that this horses pedigree suggests he should get longer, but his recent effort was rather lacklustre.
American Freedom was a widely-touted horse for much of this year with a large amount of wise guy punters considering him a late-emerging contender on the three-year-old circuit. He gets some respect from the bookmakers here with a price anywhere between 6/1 and 8/1.
