He was last seen at York in mid-August winning the Gimcrack by three lengths over Mokkaris when sent off as the 11/8 favourite. His four race career has seen him fail to hit the line only once, and that came at Glorious Goodwood in the Group 2 Qatar Richmond Stakes.

A quick shift back to William Buick proved to do the trick for the Gimcrack and his running style and pedigree suggest that this race is well within his realm of things and he will look to be a key figure for the Blue Team heading into next year. You get the feeling by examining his victory last time out that this horse is going to be able to deal with a good bit of distance going forward and this one should be well within his measure.
Look for Blue Point to be well-positioned to capitalize on any mistakes made by the odds-on fancy Churchill.
An interesting contender here is Rivet who lines up for William Haggas and will be moving up after taking a Group 2 at Doncaster with the Champagne Stakes. While the margin of victory was only by a head, it wasn't exactly a straightforward final two furlongs but this gutsy colt by Fastnet Rock was able to persevere and get into the front with about a hundred yards to spare.
Sent off as the lukewarm 7/4 favourite in a six horse field, the jockey switch to Andrea Atzeni from Frankie Dettori proved to be no problem and he could be a very interesting outside contender here with a strong place chance.
Look for Rivet anywhere between 8/1 all the way up to 10/1 right now with several top bookmakers.
Juddmonte boast an undefeated colt heading into this one who just captured a Class 2 by a six length margin in a rather one-sided match race that saw him come out of the gates at a slim price of 1/10. Clearly better than his opposition on the day, the Frankel colt trained by John Gosden looks to be a very interesting proposition here considering the fact that his famous father was able to capture the Dewhurst in rollicking style to give us all a taste of what he was capable of the following season on the track.
Look for him around a 12/1 margin and looking like he will relish every bit of the seven furlong distance.
