It’s interesting that Frankel was never contested beyond the 1m2f distance and - even then only in his last race - and the fact that Cracksman’s dam is Pivotal - who excelled at Group 1 level but only over sprint distances.

It certainly bodes well for the Frankel’s that they appear to be more than capable of achieving 1m4f, even without that type of distance breeding coming through on the mare’s side.
Martyn Meade’s contender here comes in as the chief spoiler beyond the top two selections and he was bested by Churchill in the Guineas - only able to manage a sixth place finish and he appears to be one who will definitely prefer some additional room to assert himself here as both of his previous scores came at a 1m distance.
He was able to capture the Craven Stakes and that saw him take a decent amount of money to finish fifth in the race at Newmarket only to finish a tame sixth when really tested two weeks later in the Guineas. Look for him trading at a margin anywhere around 7/1 or 8/1.
Best Solution lines up for Godolphin here and will be taking a price of around 12/1 or even 10/1 depending on whom you’re wagering with. He had been relatively heavily-raced compared to many of the others here and actually contested the UAE Derby - only to finish well beaten by the Kentucky Derby’s infamous Thunder Snow.
