2017 King George VI Chase Betting Tips PT 1
- By A.J. You’ll find a few familiar faces in here and you’ll also find some interesting contenders trading at some very plausible prices so it’s worth having a look seeing as though the race is only about a month or so away at this point in November.
Might Bite comes into the race with the shortest ante post price out of any of the others in the mix here. Trading anywhere from a 2/1 all the way up to a best price of 5/2 is probably a decent shout for a proper favourite in a high volume Boxing Day clash like this one.
The winner of last year’s RSA Chase also put together a solid Cheltenham/Punchestown double to cap off a very solid 2016/17 season.
There is a lot to like about his chances coming into this one here and you’ll notice he’s already been out for a wheel tightener so far this season with a solid victory coming in a listed contest against a small field of three other contenders.
He’s probably one of the most exciting in Nicky Henderson’s yard so far this season and the attention appears to be justified.
The next shortest priced contender is the mighty Thistlecrack and there is plenty to like about his ability in a big race like this one - seeing as though he captured the race last year and then was promptly injured having been turned around just a couple of weeks later.
