He had been floating around a 10/1 to 12/1 margin prior to the race and had acquitted himself well throughout the three-year-old season.

Shaman Ghost is owned by the organizer of the race Frank Stronach and represents his Adena Springs racing outfit. He was able to capture the Woodward Stakes, which was a big statement for the Ontario-based runner. He comes into the contest with a 25/1 price tag with the majority of major bookmakers but there are more than a few who have floate dhim at a 20/1 margin.

Neolithic deserves plenty of respect and has emerged as one of the few horses that punters genuinely believe could trouble Arrogate or Chrome if conditions unfold in just the right way. You'll find him priced as high as 28/1 for the Pegasus. They are definitely better than the majority of the field but neither horse is undefeate or unbeatable and various permutations based on the draw could see the odds begin to fluctuate quite a bit since the nine furlong distance at Gulfstream makes the 1 and 12 stalls rather undesireable.

Noble Bird can be backed anywhere between 20/1 to 33/1 and has been a bit of a fan-favourite for a while so will certainly be well-supported. Breaking Lucky is trading around a 40/1 margin with Donegal Racing's Keen Ice – who many consider to be the key spoiler here since he was able to topple American Pharoah in the Travers Stakes and seems to specialize in pulling off miracles.

Eragon, Ralis, War Envoy and War Story can all be backed at a solid price off 66/1 and the aforementioned Prayer for Relief brings up the rear at 100/1.
