Oftentimes, there is a tendency for races like this to attract one giant favourite who comes in with a very low price and manages to scare away a few other choices which leads to a larger disparity in both the odds and the talent on display during the race.
Right now, this year appears to be wide open with the favourite competing with several other contenders who now sit at anywhere in the range of 3/1 all the way up to 7/1.

The John Gosden-trained son of Frankel, Cracksman, comes into the race as the slim favourite and it’s more than justifiable when you take a look at the impressive range of performances that he has strung together over the last couple of years on the track.
