2017 Ryanair Chase Betting Tips PT 3

The JP McManus-owned nine-year-old has plenty of class and certainly wouldn't surprise a lot of punters if lightning struck twice. He is one of those contenders who really appears to be a Cheltenham specialist but it's worth noting his last outing there was his first loss at Cheltenham since 2014. He was facing off against current Ryanair favourite Un De Sceaux and was left five lengths behind, though he certainly did outrun his 12/1 odds on the day to finish second.

Right now, you'll find Uxizandre priced around anywhere from 9/2 all the way up to a 7/1 listing for the victory.

Vroum Vroum Mag appears to be entered in every single race at this year's Cheltenham Festival and remains at her shortest price for the OLBG Mares Hurdle where she can be backed as low as a 7/4 listing. It would surprise nobody if she returned to the scene of her festival triumph last year and romped home once again but they may opt for a more difficult path for her this time around since she more than seems capable of it.

The only real blemish on her record is in the Hatton's Grace Hurdle at Fairyhouse last year on her seasonal debut when she finished an extremely close second to Apple's Jade when sent off at a 4/7 margin.

Vroum Vroum Mag can be backed for the Ryanair anywhere from 6/1 all the way up to 12/1 and you may wind up looking like a genius if you're able to get that double digit price on her and she actually winds up going.

The other stablemate here is Douvan who needs no introduction, really. Seemingly destined to win the Queen Mother (and carrying a slim 1/3 price tag to do so), Douvan has been in cracking form as of late. The simple fact is that it's really unlikely we will see him contest the Ryanair. He'll be looking to build on that impressive Arkle score from last year and there is every chance he'll do so if he runs to potential.
