2017 Travers Stakes at Saratoga Ante-Post Preview PT 3

Cloud computing is expected to have another go at this race and Chad Brown always has a very good Saratoga meeting - know he is more known for big Runners on the turf.  Cloud computing has been freshened since his victory in the Preakness and it was clear on the day that he will definitely appreciate more ground and it would've been fascinating to see him actually run in the Kentucky Derby had he chosen to.

But you have to get the feeling that his connections can't be regretting their decision to opt for the tight turns at Pimlico. Look for cloud computing and an 11/2 price tag.

Irap made a big statement for himself when he was able to capture the Indiana Derby in fascinating Style just this past weekend. He appears to be a real late bloomer and was previously written off as a second-rate horse that would likely be contesting overnight stakes on the West Coast.  He deserves a lot of credibility and is also a horse that is definitely going to want a little bit more ground and has now proven that he can tangle with just about anybody in this year's 3 year old division in America.

Look for him around a 6/1 price.

Two horses that were very popular Derby selections - Always Dreaming and Gunnevera are both in the mix here as well and you'll find them trading at an 8/1 price. Though many would have figured that always dreaming would have been trading much shorter for the Travers following his derby win.
