2018 Al Quoz Sprint Betting Preview PT 2
- By A.J. Ryder on March 28, 2018 14:30 GMTJungle Cat is also listed at a rather consistent price within the ante post markets and that’s always a bonus.
Due to the fact that he is also owned and trained by the same connections as the betting favourite in the race, that makes it a slightly more difficult wagering puzzle to solve.
Librisa Breeze is listed at a longer price than the other two preferred contenders here and the six-year-old will be using this race as a seasonal debut after winning the championship in the UK last year.
His victory in the Group 1 Champions Sprint Stakes was a really solid effort and came against a very tough group of accomplished runners. You can expect him to deploy a very similar approach in this race and, if he has been training well, you can expect him to put in another accomplished effort.
One thing to remember about Librisa Breeze is that he is relatively unlikely to win on a seasonal debut based on his previous form as, after more than 150 days off, he has never come back to win first out.
Conquest Tsunami is another to keep your eye on here and he went from winning an optional claiming race at Santa Anita to victory in a Grade 3 contest after being moved over to Peter Miller. His form in those races looks good and if he can build on that victory he could certainly be in the mix.
