2018 Breeders’ Cup Distaff Betting Preview

There is an awful lot of attention being paid to the ante-post markets for the upcoming 2018 Breeders Cup which is going to be held at Churchill Downs in Louisville Kentucky this year.  while many people view the Breeders Cup Classic as the primary race of the entire meet there is still plenty of exciting wedding opportunities available - not the least of which is the very deep 2018 Breeders Cup Distaff.

There are a lot of very talented fillies and mares currently flying their trade in the United States and Beyond so you can expect a very deep field for this one and that constitutes some really good betting opportunities for those who are looking to build up a bankroll for the future contests.

As it currently stands, there is a very short price being listed on the likes of unique Bella who has returned to the track with plenty of momentum and look set to dominate as we go forward. The other big option here is the likes of Monomoy girl who won the Kentucky Oaks this year and will be looking to take on older fillies mares in her quest to help turn this year into a Breakout season for her and all of her connections.

Right now, the bookmakers are floating her at a very plausible price just a couple of points behind Unique Bella who has put together some really good performances over the past year.

Last year's Kentucky Oaks winner Abel Tasman is also in the mix here but looks to have lost a step after last year so she will obviously have to regain some of the composer that she is displayed in the past if she's going to push the top two selections all the way to the finish line.

A few other notable selections include the likes of Elate, who deserves plenty of respect, In addition to Dream Tree and Midnight Bisou.  the really exciting Outsider appears to be the Canadian Contender Wonder Gadot who is put together some really really good performances over the past while and is listed at a very good each-way price by number of top bookmakers.
