You can expect even more interesting options for Winx going forward with many believing that connections intend her to race on after this one and she may be contesting another Cox Plate or perhaps taking her show on the road next year - which is something that many racing observers have been clamoring for over the past while.

It had originally been speculated that Winx would be contesting a race at Royal Ascot in 2018 but connections poured cold water on that for the season but didn’t exactly rule out the option of having her make an attempt in the near future.

Should Winx be looking to make a move to Royal Ascot next year it will likely be to contest the Queen Anne Stakes and there are plenty who believe that if she is able to travel effectively then she will be able to make short work of the field that will be on offer there.

However, many are confident that she will be up against a tougher group of competitors there since much of the Australian contenders that she runs against are horses that would be contesting Group 3 efforts in the UK and Ireland so she remains an unknown quantity in that capacity.
 

If there is any time that she will go off at a relatively high price - something above evens at least - then it will definitely be at Royal Ascot, it won’t be in the Cox Plate during 2018.
