2018 Kentucky Derby Trail Betting Update PT 1

Things are now in full swing on the 2018 Kentucky Derby Trail in the United States with a number of top thoroughbreds all stepping up and winning those marquee prep races to secure their ticket to the big dance at Churchill Downs on the first Saturday in May.

After winning big in the Holy Bull last week we have seen Audible step up and make a play as the current betting favourite to win the 2018 Kentucky Derby with a big odds score making him a new favourite for the punters as well. You can bank on his price dropping if he’s able to pick up another victory in a Grade 1 race later on the Derby trail.

Right now, his price is around 10/1 with most major bookmakers while a few of them have him priced as low as an 8/1 margin and you can assume that’s going to be trending downwards as the punters begin to pile on.

Next up is the popular Bolt D’Oro who was a well accomplished two-year-old prospect who now looks to bring his racing acumen to the triple crown campaign. He comes into the ante post market having trading as the ouright favourite for quite some time in both Europe and the Las Vegas future pools.

A listing of around 10/1 to 12/1 is out there right now and, if he winds up making it into the starting gate on Derby Day, you can assume that he’ll be trading at an extremely shorter price.
