2018 Travers Stakes Betting Preview PT 2

The one that everybody appears to be watching out for is hofburg who was one of the main threats and outside Wiseguy horses in the Kentucky Derby and in the Belmont Stakes itself.  this is a contender who may be better suited going a mile and a half as opposed to the 1-mile to for long distance that you'll find contested in the Travers Stakes.

Everybody refers to Saratoga Racetrack as the graveyard to favorites and we saw that when Triple Crown winner American pharoah was defeated by Keen Ice in a very unlikely reversal just a couple of years ago.

Another horse that is worth keeping your eye on is Gronkowski who was a major player in the Belmont Stakes going off as the longest shot on the board and mustering up an impressive second-place finish to Triple Crown winner Justify.  right now he trades as the third favorite in this contest and is likely to take a lot of money on the board on the day - probably because of his innate talent but also because of his well-known connections.

One of the really interesting prospects that's evolving here is the possible entry of top three year old Filly Wonder Gadot who deserves plenty of credit for everything that she has pulled off this year - particularly in Canada where she has rifled off who wins in the Canadian Triple Crown Series already and may or may not can test the Third Leg of it at Woodbine in a couple of weeks.

Firenze Fire is also in the mix and deserves a lot of credit as well. Other notables for the 2018 Travers Stakes include Catholic Boy, Tenfold and Vino Rosso.
