While there are plenty of really interesting wagering opportunities set to unfold over the two day affair, one of the most lucrative betting races is always the Breeders’ Cup Turf which usually pits some very high profile international contenders against each other.
This time around it looks like the bookmakers are favouring Enable, who was able to stamp her dominance on this contest last year after a very successful European campaign. There are plenty of racing observers who feel as though she may even want to contest the 1m2f Classic over dirt but the fact remains that her connections will likely opt for this - which many consider to be an easier route to victory for the filly.
The ante post markets have her trading around a 5/2 best price and that will definitely be either dropping considerably or rising even more following the upcoming Arc De Triomphe which connections believe to be the primary destination for her flat campaign.
Magical remains the biggest potential spoiler here with a price hovering around a 5/1 price tag while his odds are the most likely to drop as we get closer to the Breeders’ Cup Turf itself. The odds are also interesting on Bricks and Mortar who can be backed around a 6/1 price tag.
Too Darn Hot can be backed around a 12/1 price tag and that looks like an interesting outside option with Japan trading at an identical price.
