One of the major highlights for older horses during the summer flat season is undoubtedly the King George & Queen Elizabeth Stakes and we have seen a number of really talented contenders line up in this one over the years and it appears as though 2019’s iteration is no different.

One of the biggest superstars in the world of flat racing is pointed at this race and it appears as though the punters and racing fans alike will be delighted by another massive performance from the likes of Enable who has been a globetrotting super filly with plenty of power left in the tank as she goes forward in search of more wins for her prestigious connections. 

She has been able to handle virtually anything thrown in her path over the last two years of racing and she was able to pull off a few incredible victories - not the least of which came in the Breeders’ Cup last year at Churchill Downs where she stamped her name onto the international scene. 

The Juddmonte homebred deserves plenty of plaudits for her great performances and the distance that this race will be contested at makes this one a sharp option for her as the race is very much right in her wheelhouse. There is a lot to like about her ability and she always seems to be able to find more at just the right time, something we have seen in her last couple of performances. 

According to the bookmakers, and this shouldn’t come as a big surprise to anybody, Enable is an odds-on shout for the 2019 King George & Queen Elizabeth Stakes and you’ll find her trading at a best price of around 4/6 with several top outfits.

That price is likely to drop even further as we get closer to the race and, with no negative news from her morning efforts on the gallops combined with a solid pre-race appearance, she could go off around a 2/5 price tag on the day. That wouldn’t come as a big surprise to many and she deserves a lot of acclaim for her ability to move forward with each successive race.
