As it currently stands city of light is trading at a significantly higher price than accelerate and it's going to be interesting to see exactly how it pans out once the race actually runs.

There are many who believe that accelerate has absolutely what it takes to do this and there are even rumors that he may not be retired after this race if he comes out of the contest especially cleanly. One thing that's important to consider is the fact that this race is not actually run at the classic distance of one mile and 2 furlongs, this runs as a 9 furlong long contest which brings a lot of middle distances into the factoring for a number of handicappers in horse bettors.
