Owendale is another interesting prospect that the bookmakers are having a hard time nailing down a final price on. You’ll find him trading around 8/1 with some bookmakers and then floating as high as a 12/1 listing with a couple of other ones so it pays off to look around for the best odds on some of these longer odds Preakness contenders.
Anothertwistafate is going to be a big option for a lot of punters since he pulled off some solid performances prior to the Kentucky Derby but missed out on accumulating enough points to run in the race. With some time off and the fact that he’ll probably be facing some tired horses, he looks like a really interesting shout trading anywhere between 7/1 all the way up to 12/1 with a couple of European bookmakers.
The Also Eligible who ran in the Kentucky Derby - Bodexpress - comes into the Preakness with a price hovering between 10/1 and 16/1, while Signalman is anywhere between 14/1 and 18/1.
The longest shot on the board in the ante post market appears to be Laughing Fox, who a lot of punters don’t really know much about, but looks very interesting with a price between 16/1 and 20/1 though he will likely be trading at a higher price than that on the day.
