There is plenty to like about how the race is shaping up and the ante post markets have a number of really talented contenders set to run in this six furlong contest.

From a betting standpoint, the race looks extremely open and you’ll find that even the horses competing for the favourites position are priced around 9/2 and 5/1 so there is plenty of money to be made for those who can get the race correct this time around.
Oxted appears to be the betting favourite by a slim margin right now and the Roger Teal-trained colt is looking for his third successive win here. He was victorious in the Darley July Cup Stakes at Newmarket back in mid-July and he was able to build on his Group 3 victory that kicked off his debut back in early June.
The spacing between the races looks good for Oxted and he looks to be having a banner year, having competing mostly in higher-end handicaps during his 2019 campaign.
Sir Michael Stoute’s Dream of Dreams won a Group 2 contest in early August and looks to be pointing towards this race with the bookmakers putting him right in the mix to take on Oxted with a listing of around 5/1. The six-year-old was a notable second place in the Group 1 Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot. He was well-beaten in this race last year but looks to be moving forward a lot better this time around and could be poised to make the breakthrough here.
A few other notable contenders in the race include last year’s winner Hello Youmzain at a 6/1 price tag while the talented Golden Horde looks to be coming back for a run here as well with bookmakers going as high as a 13/2 price tag to capture a solid Group 1 victory.
