Like many of the other hurdle contests for emerging stars, the race is frequently complicated by the fact that many of the contenders boast multiple entries to other races so it can be a better bet to hold your cash in hand until you get confirmation that they are actually pointed at this race.
This time around, you’ll find that Solo is the lukewarm betting favourite and the punters could be tucking in to a different option on the day. As it currently stands, you’ll find him available at a 3/1 margin with most major bookmakers.
His last performance was especially impressive as he was able to pull off a dramatic 13 length victory on February 22nd at Kempton. His victory last year was also by a considerable margin and he has shown himself to be a step above a lot of the competition in his current division.
He changed trainers to Paul Nicholls prior to his last race and that appears to have paid dividends as the is emerging as a genuine talent here that should be able to get the better of his competition if he gets the right type of ride and has favourable ground underneath him.
