The connections of Swiss Skydiver have said that they may opt to take on the boys again in the Preakness - particularly if Tiz The Law chooses to skip the race. This is definitely worth keeping your eye on and you’ll find that she could really be a threat in this race - particularly with a good trip. She notably finished second to Tiz The Law in one of her last races and she looks like she could build on that. 

Expect a few other really popular selections here to be enticing to the punters since many expect this one to be a more open race. Pimlico has thrown out some pretty interesting winners over the last couple of years and this one could wind up being no different. 

The weather will definitely play a factor on the day and we have seen many muddy versions of the Preakness in the past and you can expect that things could definitely be setting up for another one now that we are running the race in mid-fall. 

King Guillermo was pointed towards the Derby for quite a while after being victorious in the Florida Derby at long odds. He had a slight problem shortly before the Derby at Churchill Downs and was forced to miss the race. He’s expected to return for the Preakness and his 14/1 listing makes him an interesting each-way wager. 

Max Player comes in at a 16/1 price tag to win the Preakness and he has been there or thereabouts in a lot of his efforts this year so you can expect a solid performance on October 4th in Baltimore.
