The Woodward Stakes winner Shaman Ghost took a lot of people by surprise when he shipped down from Canada and was able to pull off the victory against a lot of talented older American horses. 

He deserves plenty of respect and though he is still not 100% confirmed for the race he definitely still does deserve a look as part of the trifecta and many think that he has a genuine chance of taking on California Chrome if he runs his absolute best race this time around.

Dortmund has a listing of 16/1 to 20/1 or so for the Classic but he is far more likely to head towards the Dirt Mile, where the majority of major bookmakers consider him to be a solid favourite. 

Exaggerator remains in a few ante post markets but he has already been retired to stud after picking up an injury. 

Melatonin is one who deserves respect running at Santa Anita and he has done a lot of his best work there. Look for him anywhere between a 20/1 price all the way up to a 25/1 margin. Beholder remains a possibility for the race and is about 25/1 or 30/1 to actually win it, but she is more likely to take on Songbird in the Distaff.
