- By A.J. Ryder on October 20, 2016 13:45 GMTEctot has been priced as high as 12/1 by a few bookmakers but remains as low as a 6/1 price with several others as bookmakers seem to be relatively unconvinced about his ability to challenge these top-level contenders. The punting public has made plenty of money on this runner though and you simply have to reckon that there will be more than a few backing him.

The Queen’s horse Dartmouth is also deserving of plenty of respect and, though his presence in the race isn’t exactly 100% confirmed, he would be a welcome addition and is already stateside having finished a solid second in the aforementioned Canadian International.
You’ll find Her Majesty’s horse available anywhere from a 10/1 price tag all the way up to a 14/1 listing to get the victory here - and you have to assume that a lot of American punters will be backing Dartmouth simply for the novelty factor. This fact is exacerbated on-course.
Time Test has also done a whole lot to deserve some credibility this year and he goes into the Breeders’ Cup Turf with more than a few books listing him anywhere from 10/1 all the way up to 14/1.

Other notables include Da Big Hoss, Mondialiste and Deauville. It’s also worth keeping your eye on the likes of Wake Forest and The Pizza Man - who have shown that they can take on nearly anyone in the American turf division over the past two years or so.
