There is a lot to like about his ability and nobody would be too surprised to see him pull off a victory here - particularly since he seems to favour firmer surfaces from our angle.

Japan is another interesting option here and he has put together some solid performances over the past while and the bookmakers have his price tag up in the air like many of the others. You’ll find him priced around a 7/2 or 6/1 price tag with a number of top bookmakers.
Should Japan get the right trip he is in very good shape and looks to be able to tangle with many in this race if he’s able to run his best stuff. The interesting aspect at play here is that Japan is a very logical choice to hit the board because of his running style.
With the full fields available in the Breeders’ Cup races you can count on him to mount a strong challenge to finish in the top three. Occasionally you will find a bookmaker paying each-way on four places and Japan is in a strong spot here for that type of wager but could struggle as a win-only selection.
Sottsass is another interesting outside option and he’s anywhere between a 9/2 margin and a 13/2 listing. He has been an ever-present in a lot of top contests in Europe but looks to be just a bit behind the rest in terms of out-and-out quality for this race.
Other notables include the likes of Anthony Van Dyck around 7/1, Old Persian available at 12/1 while Arklow is an interesting 22/1 shot here.
