The fact that he was able to finish the race so strongly and come out by a full length and a half with plenty and hand shows that he should have no difficulty tackling the mile-and-a-half distance that will be on offer up some. It's going to be up to Ryan Moore to give him the right type of ride but you reckon that if they can start properly and keep themselves slightly in touch as they get towards the last 3 or 4 furlongs and he should be poised to make a very big impression when it matters most in the 2018 Epsom Derby.

He comes in off a victory in the Group 2 Dante Stakes and boasts plenty of ability to get the job done.  that makes it to group tools for him over the course of his lifetime as he was also able to capture one during his first year on the racetrack. His Qatar-based connections have plenty of confidence in his ability and they would love nothing more than to capture an English classic at this point in the season as we roll into good wood.

The fact that he was able to dispose of his competition by a four and a half lengths margin in such an important race shows that there was a lot more left in the tank for this one and we should be able to see him Excel as he gets the ability to tackle a longer distance.
