Jumps Action From Warwick and Exeter on Sunday
- By A.J. Ryder on December 5, 2010 07:05 GMTWe finally have some National Hunt action again and you can expect plenty of volume, both on the exchanges and the tote, with punters feeling starved due to the winter freeze. Both Exeter and Warwick look good to go early Sunday.

Things get off to a rather approachable start as a field of four line up in this limited handicap hurdle contest. Paul Nicholls' SANCTUAIRE looks set to improve this time out having fallen on his seasonal debut in the Greatwood Hurdle at Cheltenham. He was actually lookinh pretty good before falling 3 out and he won't really have any excuses against low profile opposition.

Bottom-weight BOSAMCLIFF gets three pounds on the rest and looks set to get one over four others in this 2m beginners chase. The five year old bay mare was a toast of each-way punters last time out at Wincanton when going 2m5f and coming in second at a hefty 20/1. They deployed a different game plan that day and nearly paid a real dividend so watch for Bosamcliff to track the early leaders and give himself a good space to run into. If he stays on his feet and gets enough room he'll be a very solid shout.

ABEY M'BOY was a beaten favourite last time out at Plumpton and only registered a third place finish. He drops back to his preferred 2m distance here and that could make the difference but the he just looks to be a shade above some in this field and King Ozzy looks appealling but not giving up a stone to the likes of Abey and Morestead.

This 2m3f contest is one of the trickier selections on the card but PISTOLET DOVE gets the nod above bottom weight Kings Story in an up and down field of eight. Pistolet Dove didn't really take to the stretch out in distance last time but he gets back closer to his comfort zone here. He should get an advantage if the ground is closer to good than soft but looks set to bounce back either way.

CHICO TIME gets the nod as she attempts to complete a hat trick in this 3m5f marathon chase. She gets two stone on top-weight C'monthehammers, who comes out of the Twiston-Davies yard, but we'll be staying off that one as he won't enjoy the stretch out in distance. Arnold Layne could play the spoiler but Chico Time has won without really being pushed at Warwick and Market Rasen so it will be interesting to see who is looking to step up on the run-in.

Nine year-old Irish invader TOPLESS looks to have the stars aligning here and should go off at a decent price in this 3m chase. The grey mare has been knocking on the door the last two times at Ffos Las and Taunton with a pair of runner-up finishes. She's put in very respectable performances and the company she's keeping in this contest doesn't really strike fear into anybody's heart. Nigel Twiston-Davies saddles Noble Aran who could spring a surprise, but he comes back off an eight month layoff and will likely need a race or two.
