King George Day Undercard Betting Preview

We have some fascinating contests set to unfold on the big Boxing Day fixture at Kempton, which will likely set us up for a really interesting couple of months as we approach festival time in March and April. There is plenty to like about the card and a number of really interesting races are set to run.

The biggest lock of the day on the Boxing Day undercard appears to be Buveur D’Air in the Christmas Hurdle and plenty of punters will likely be parlaying him with a higher odds horse to score later on in the card. He has plenty of momentum coming into this race and appears to have the capacity to do a lot better than his competition in this one.

Getabird is the big odds-on favourite in the Novices Chase contest on the undercard and the bookmakers have him priced relatively short but nowhere near as short as you’ll find Buveur D’Air. He faces some real competition from Jetz and Hardline here as the bookmakers seem to be struggling to separate them in the ante post market right now.

Santini appears to be the betting choice in the Kauto Star Novices Chase on the Boxing Day undercard at Kempton and he’s trading at a relatively plausible price here ahead of a couple of interesting contenders including Topofthegame and Bags Groove.

And in the Racing Post Novices’ Chase we have Mengli Khan available at an odds-on price to get the victory here and that’s going to be a tricky one as the competition in this race appears to be quite deep. Keep your eye on Voix Du Reve as we get closer to the race and see what his price looks like if he makes a really good pre-race appearance.
