PT 1: 2020 Dubai Turf Betting
- By A.J. Ryder on March 17, 2020 16:41 GMTWith thoroughbred racing being one of the only betting sports still unfolding around the world, most of us are keeping our eyes firmly fixed on the major race dates that are expected to unfold in Dubai on their biggest day of the year. The Dubai World Cup undercard has many interesting races set to unfold and one of the most widely anticipated is the Dubai Turf.
The big name coming into the race is Japanese sensation Almond Eye and she has been a major superstar for several years with another tip at Dubai set for this year.
The bookmakers have her priced as the 7/4 ante post favourite coming into the race and, on her past form, she should have every chance of getting a serious result in this one. She lost out in her last race, the Arima Kinen, when she was widely expected to get the victory and she has been off track since then so many expect her to make a big performance here as she will come into the race fresh.
The Japanese bet into separate pools and she will likely take a significant amount of money over there but many of us think that she may have a real possibility of getting beat here so a few other contenders in the mix might wind up being a better option for many.

Godolphin’s Barney Roy is looming as the significant second favourite to win this race and you’ll find him coming into the contest with a really solid series of races under his belt so far at the Meydan Carnival.
