He had been off the track since a disappointing run at Royal Ascot last year but has rattled off two victories on the bounce so far in Dubai. Look for him to be making a big impression for the home team.

Another major contender coming out of Japan for this race is Admire Mars and most will remember him as the winner of the Hong Kong Mile at Sha Tin last December. The bookmakers have him priced around an 8/1 listing right now and he comes out of his Japanese races with a really solid series of victories.
The issue with Admire Mars, however, is the fact that he hasn’t been able to be on the track in well over four months by the time the race runs so there may be questions over how fresh he is for the race. Keeping an eye on his series of morning works will be crucial if you’re thinking about backing him.
Saturnalia is available around an 8/1 price tag and remains a solid option but Admire Mars does come in with better form. Benbatl is listed at 10/1 for the race by some bookmakers but he is already the favourite for the Dubai World Cup and, though he boasts a co-entry for this race, he is very much unlikely to run in this race.

Both Magic Lily and Magic Wand are both available around a 14/1 price tag and could be interesting outside options for the Dubai Turf.
