As it currently stands, punters have been eyeing up the likes of Rhododendron to secure the coveted one mile contest for three-year-old fillies.

The Aidan O’Brien-trained filly was able to put together some really solid work so far with three scores from four career races. The most recent of which was a solid triumph over course and distance in the Dubai Fillies Mile, which came last October on her seasonal bow.

Capturing a Group 1 clash like that to cap off your season will always stand you in good stead going forward but one has to wonder whether the race will be won by a filly coming into the contest with a race under her belt already this season.

Right now, you’ll find her available in the neighbourhood of about 11/4 to get the victory here for the Magnier and McManus crew. You’ll find a few bookmakers pricing her at 5/2 and she has remained more or less around there since she captured her last race.

You will find that the 9/2 price floated on her last October after her big victory hasn’t really changed all that much when you factor in that it was about seven months ago.
