Royal Ascot Day One Betting Tips PT 2

In the second race of opening day you've got American shipper Lady Aurelia set to make another massive impression here as she takes on the Kings Stand Stakes and comes into the contest with a very solid price of 3/1. She made a real splash winning here previously for trainer Wesley Ward and you can expect her to come back with just as much panache as she showed the last time she came here and dominated at the age of two.

Marsha looks to be the one that the bookmakers fancy to get the better of her and you can back Marsha at a price of 4/1. Signs of Blessing is the only other selection priced in single digits here with a listing at 13/2.

The St James Palace is always a fascinating contest and this years iteration is no different with another big odds-on fancy in Churchill looking like the key player. Expect him to be combined with Ribchester in the double banker of the day that might make or break a number of punters tickets. Right now, he's at a best price of 4/6.

He faces some really stiff competition from Barney Roy, however, who can be backed at a very enticing price of 5/2 while Kentucky Derby flop Thunder Snow was able to come back and perform much better in his next race in England and you'll find him in the mix as an outsider here with a 10/1 ante post price.

In the Ascot Stakes, which runs as the fourth contest on the opening days card, we have Thomas Hobson trading as the 7/2 favourite in a race that looks tricky to decipher. Who Dares Wins at 7/1 looks interesting while Beyond Conceit can be backed with a few bookmakers as high as an 8/1 price right now.

The final two races of the day on the opening day of Royal Ascot are always very difficult puzzles but we've got the Windsor Castle Stakes featuring a lot of talented runners and the pick appears to be Nootka Sound who comes in with a solid 6/1 price tag alongside Elizabeth Darcy. A few bookmakers have priced down Declarationofpeace for the victory here at 11/2.

Brother Bear is the 9/2 favourite in the Coventry Stakes while Arawak is an interesting outside shot at a 7/1 price tag alongside De Bruyne House and Denaar.
