Supreme Novices Hurdle Betting Preview PT 1

We are definitely starting to get close to the kickoff of the Cheltenham festival with a lot of the major contenders from the National Hunt season already having had their final runs in preparation for the big event up in Cotswolds in March. 

This season we have seen a number of really talented young contenders emerge onto the scene and the Supreme novices is always one of the most widely anticipated contest of the entire Festival. One of the big issues however is that this often leads to the race being over bad because it goes off as the opening round with many countries having a lot of cash burning a hole in their pockets early on in the festival.

What also makes it a tricky wagering race is the fact that many of the horses are simply unproven and still finding their feet in their career over fences. 

Taking a look at the betting market for this race will showcase the fact that Abracadabras appears to be the main Contender with the bookmakers listing him as the upright favorite that the price is a bit lukewarm and we could still see plenty of movement in the odds during the build-up to the race. 

Right now, he can be back to anywhere from a 3/1 to a 9/2 margin depending on whom you're wagering with.  this does appear to be rather open field and there will be a lot of interesting competition out there for him as well.
