Totesport Scoop6 Should Top £400,000 This Saturday

There's lots to like about this week's Scoop6 Jackpot as it appears as though we will have at least some jumps racing on the card as Musselburgh mixes it up with the all-weather surface at Lingfield as we prep for this six race blockbuster.

Totesport has stated that punters should expect £400,000 or so as the bet has rolled over since last Saturday. As it currently stands you'll find £67,202 in the win fund rolling over and £187,337 in the bonus fund.

It's certainly not quite the fantastic card that it could have been if the key fixtures for the Cheltenham Trials at Newbury had gone ahead. A number of top class Grade 1, 2 and 3 contests were set to unfold but they have reportedly been rescheduled to next Friday.

You won't find too many famous names running in many of the Scoop6 races but the look of the card remains relatively winnable with no genuinely packed fields of 20 or 30, which we've seen on more than one occasion – especially on high-profile jumps cards.

Kieran Fallon returns from Dubai on quite a high from yesterday and he's set to pilot Roman Straight, a son of Refuse To Bend in the first Scoop6 contest which goes 6f on the all weather. Keep your eye on Hatta Stream as well.

The second race is a staying contest with Everaard coming in on two straight victories and a course and distance victory to his credit. Ostland enters as top weight and still has plenty to do going forward if he's looking for the score.

Seek The Fair Land headlines the Lingfield third race, which is a £16,000 guaranteed contest. Only eight runners contest this one with Five Star Junior carrying the highest rating.

The fourth race has us going back to Musselburgh with £15,000 guaranteed. Lightening Rod could do with a bit more luck this time and could certainly be a factor. Woody Waller has finished second in two attempts and could get it right third time off the lay-off.

Lingfield hosts the fifth race with Picansort improving significantly last time. Highland Harvest also comes into this one after a freshening and could be set to kick on. Nubar Boy has also looked progressive.

Musselburgh at 3:45 has 13 runners in it and Ubi Ace is set to carry the top weight after coming in a well-beaten third last time. Ingleby Spirit has run well so far this season and is in good form while Dontpaytheferryman boasts good form and a soldi course & distance reference.
