UAE Derby Betting Odds

Most will remember the bucking bronco show that Thunder Snow put on last year when coming out of the gates onto an extremely sloppy Churchill Downs surface surrounded by 100,000 screaming and slightly drunk racing fans. While he came out of the race in good order you have to assume that this is going to be another tricky situation no matter who comes out and wins the race in this year’s iteration of the UAE Derby.
Right now it appears as though Gold Town is considered to be the big favourite coming into the race and he has been absorbing the lion’s share of the wagering in the ante post markets so far.
His chief rival appears to be Mendelssohn, who comes into the race looking to build on his excellent performance in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf last year when he finished ahead of the quality contender Untamed Domain. He has been out once so far this year as a prep race and was victorious in his seasonal debut at Dundalk in the 32Red Patton Stakes.
Rayya is also in the mix here and trades at a slightly longer price than the other two contenders and there is a lot of interesting clues that could tell you whether he has a chance to get a victory here.
It’s also worth taking a look at Threeorfourpence in this race but it’s important to note that he finished second behind Mendelssohn in his last effort at Dundalk and will need to step his game up here to get the victory.
