There are plenty of major events set to unfold over the coming weekend in the United States as their summer racing season shifts into full swing with both Saratoga and Del Mar Racetracks attracting fans from all walks of life. There is plenty to like about the wagering options on deck for the coming weekend and the action on the east coast looks particularly impressive.

Right now, the bookmakers have unveiled odds for a few of the major races happening this weekend and the Alfred G Vanderbilt Handicap looks like the first one to run with Mitole looming as the outright favourite with a price of around 6/4 in the ante post market. 

Imperial Hint is an interesting option with his listing just a step behind Mitole with a price of around 2/1 with several top bookmakers. He’s been in good form as of late and could be poised to make an impression over the surface at Saratoga. Firenze Fire is a 5/1 shout at the moment and will definitely take some money - he’s a very good selection for a top three finish.
