So You Think Withdrawn From Cox Plate

The Ballydoyle team has opted against bringing So You Think back to Australia for an attempt at a third Cox Plate. The Moonee Valley feature contest will be left to its leading fancies Americain and Sahara Sun with So You Think now firmly pointed towards either the 2011 Arc De Triomphe or an attempt at the Breeders' Cup Classic.
Or both.
Both Cape Blanco, winner of the Arlington Million, and So You Think were removed from contention during the first declaration stage. So You Think remains among the top five ante post contenders for the Arc De Triomphe at Longchamp but he definitely looks to have his work cut out for him in this one with both Sarafina and Workforce looking especially strong at the moment. Nathaniel is also rated ahead of the New Zealand-bred sensation.
As it currently stands, Sarafina is the 7/2 ante post choice with Workforce trading at a respectable 5/1. Nathaniel is just a shade ahead of So You Think, trading at an 11/2 price tag with Aidan O'Brien's charge available at 6/1. St Leger favourite Sea Moon is at 12/1 but would likely halve in price should be triumph at Doncaster.

The exchanges have So You Think priced competitively for the Classic even though many ante post markets continue to leave him out. Betfair has him trading around 9.0 for a Classic win – placing him right alongside the betting favourites.
Traditional bookmakers are making Tizway and Stay Thirsty the betting choice's for the Classic, pricing them both at 6/1. Uncle Mo continues to gain strong support despite looking like a miler. He is just a step behind at 7/1 while Europe's leading selection, Await The Dawn, is at 7/1 having once been the favourite.
Twirling Candy, second in the Pacific Classic, is available at 10/1 with Wooward Winner Havre De Grace set to represent the fillies at 12/1.
