Aussie superstar sprinter Black Caviar is set for another run in Adelaide this weekend at Morphettville as she looks to solidify her claims for her first trip overseas to take on the world. The sprinting sensation has quickly become a national treasure in her native Australia and is amongst the most popular racehorses anywhere in the world.

She is set to contest the Goodwood Stakes this weekend, a Group 1 event, which many observers believe will be another walkover for the talented mare.
She has several entries in Britain this summer as she looks to take her show on the road and prove that Australian racing can hold it's own at the highest level anywhere on the planet.
Black Caviar has an entry in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes, which is one of the key Group 1 fixtures at Ascot and things have just gotten a bit more interesting in the past 24 hours as it appears Starspangledbanner will be coming out of retirement with an eye on beating Black Caviar this summer.
Aiden O'Brien has confirmed that the Coolmore-based sprinter will re-enter training and that he's very much still up for the chase.
It is unlikely that he will be able to make Royal Ascot, which happens in a mere six weeks, but his eyes are probably firmly-fixed on the Darley July Cup at Newmarket – to which Black Caviar also boasts an entry.
As it currently stands, there are 57 different contenders entered for that one and Black Caviar will certainly go off as the betting favourite. At the moment, she is listed at an odds-on price ante post for the Diamond Jubilee Stakes.
